This happens because i Cloud doesn't see your account as the meeting owner.

If you receive a warning the "Exceptions will be lost", see Changing the End Date on Recurring Appointments When you create a yearly appointment on that recurs on a pattern (eg 3rd Sunday), it may use the original date for occurrence, not adjusting each year.

So, if you're not seeing your Gmail Cal events show up on your Calendar, this is one of the things you should check.

When you pick a time interval (after selecting the Fetch method), the Calendars will automatically fetch data from your Gmail calendar at the set interval.

These days, the setup is so easy that it all happens automatically once you sign in with your Gmail/Google credentials.

But there's this remote possibility that Google/Gmail calendars are not synced to your i Phone's calendar and that can be a big problem.

If you want appointments added to the i Cloud calendar, you'll need to either move (or copy) the appointments to the i Cloud calendar or create them directly in the i Cloud Calendar folder. While some versions of Outlook and i Cloud will let you set the (i Cloud data file as your default, with limitations), it's better and less problematic to configure Outlook to startup in the i Cloud Calendar folder.

Don't use i Cloud calendar, contact, or tasks sync for Exchange, Gmail, or accounts.

If you want the appointments in your default calendar, you'll need to drag them to it.

Switch to a list view, select all and drag or use the Move to Folder command. First, check your calendar settings and verify you are not using Low details view.
