Chat to local sexy moms

She keeps busy in her free time by tending bees, working as a doula, organizing an Atrium for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and searching for the best book to read.

Today’s chat is with a wise mom who made an impact on me the first time I met her a few short months ago.

Last November I went to my very first ever homeschool conference, a Charlotte Mason conference in Illinois, and I registered for a pre-conference Immersion with the hope that I would come away with some fantastic ideas that could help me start a Charlotte Mason community/co op in my area.

Each year adds another layer of understanding and implementation to her Charlotte Mason approach of learning and living.

In May 2017 they will graduate their first student.

There have been many times in my life when I had the feeling that I should listen to wise advice that was given to me, but I just went ahead with what I wanted to do anyway. They agreed with it all, so we started a local study group the following month to begin reading through Charlotte Mason’s Volume One, Home Education.

And this month we are launching our Natural History Club!

What are some of your favorite things about this job?

There is something very spiritual about helping a couple welcome a new life into the world. I find the journey of pregnancy to the postpartum period a way to encourage moms when changes can be so hard.

This is only multiplied with more children added to the mix!
